This individual will be responsible for:
Analyzing multi-state and multi-jurisdiction payroll tax data, perform calculation, and ensuring payroll information is reported to federal, state, and local agencies as required
Processing and responding to tax notices to the IRS to be paid properly
Working with 3rd party tax vendor to ensure accuracies
Uploading tax files and running tax reports
Ad hoc work as needed
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
5 years of experience (can be in the form of a blend of payroll processing and payroll tax)
Experience working in Ceridian required
Experience with multi-state tax jurisdictions for 10 FEIN's or more
Intermediate Excel skills to include pivot tables and vlookups
