Job Title: Centralized Commercial Lending Credit Analyst

First Horizon is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our Centralized Commercial Lending team. As a key member of our underwriting and credit analysis process, you will assist Underwriting and Relationship Managers with front-end work to provide a seamless client experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spread financial statements and tax returns to support commercial lending portfolios.
  • Create Global Cash Flows for borrowers, guarantors, and prospects to ensure accurate financial analysis.
  • Conduct due diligence, including verifying 4506-Cs, ordering tax transcripts, and performing background checks to ensure compliance.
  • Assist underwriters with loan requests on both new money and renewal sides to facilitate efficient deal progression.
  • Communicate effectively with RMs, client specialists, and underwriters to ensure deals are progressing as intended.
  • Request missing documentation when necessary to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Participate in special projects and assignments as needed to support the team's goals.
Requirements:
  • A college degree in a related business discipline, such as Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • At least one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with nCino and Moody's CreditLens is a plus.
  • Understanding of financial ratios and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, solve problems, and achieve goals.
