Position Summary

The People Team Coordinator has exceptional oral and written communication skills and provides administrative support to the People Team and its daily operations. The coordinator enhances Calyxos culture by communicating employee offerings and information about our initiatives and programs that impact all employees in the company. The People Team Coordinator supports the daily operations of our team and is integral to supporting all Calyxo team members. This is an in-office position based in Pleasanton, CA.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Support Talent Acquisition by ensuring a positive candidate experience when candidates engage with Calyxo.
  • Schedule candidate interviews, maintain ongoing communication with hiring managers, interview team, and candidates. Coordinate logistics, and fill gaps during the recruiting process.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining applicant Greenhouse, Calyxos applicant tracking system.
  • Prepare offer letters, initiate background checks, begin onboarding process, and manage I9 verification for all new joiners.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment for all newly eligible Calyxo employees.
  • Collaborate with People Team members to ensure a positive onboarding experience including proactive communication around timelines, due dates, and what to expect before and during onboarding.
  • Monitor onboarding systems to ensure new hires are completing electronic documents by the required due dates.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining all People Team platforms and systems.
  • Collaborate with People Team in resolving benefits issues, collecting leave of absence forms, and assisting with miscellaneous benefits issues.
  • Provide administrative support to the People Team.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and reports as needed.
