Job Description

Location Profile: 1st Shift Position Located in North Hollywood, CA, AvibankManufacturing, Inc.,a PCC Company, a part of the EngineeredProducts Group, is among the world's leading manufacturers specializing in the design and production of sophisticated fasteners and multi-component fastening systems and devices, solving difficult engineering and critical performance problems. Position Summary: Working with experienced professionals in the Quality Department the Quality Engineer Intern (QEI) will be responsible for supporting the Quality Department in the plan, coordination, and execution of quality control activities to assure delivery of conforming products that meet all company and customer Quality requirements. This internship is on-site and can be part-time (20+hours/ week) or full-time, with the schedule determined based on availability and course load. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in developing SPC and in-process inspection forms for manufacturing operations Develop/maintain nonconformance data for metric generation and analysis Assist in root cause evaluations and implementation of corrective actions Perform reviews of fixturing, dimensional conformance, and documentation of in-process jobs Assist in various continuous improvement efforts throughout the facility Support MRB activities as directed Creates presentations to report out on current projects to Leadership team Performs other duties as required Required Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
