The Commodity Manager reports directly to the General Manager. Duties: Manage long and short commodity positions Manage corn basis adjustments and deferred cash bids Manage inventories for all commodities Create monthly reports for board meetings Manage railcar inventory Direct company grain origination program Use tools available as detailed in the risk management policy to protect risk and company margins Comply with the company risk management policy Attend conferences as needed to stay abreast of the latest developments in the industry and commodities Consult with participating brokers on commodity trends Determine best course of action when buying corn Manage sales of ethanol, wet cake, and distillers grains Manage company carbon reduction efforts and compliance with carbon markets Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies Job Requirements: Five years minimum grain marketing experience Bachelor's degree in Ag business or similar field is preferred Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint) Must be detail-oriented Good problem solver Able to handle stressful situations Good communication skills Driven to learn Excellent Culture and Benefits: Competitive Pay 401K Match 75% of Health Insurance Paid Fuel Rebate Program Clothing/Boot Allowance Hybrid Work Allowed #J-18808-Ljbffr
