Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $28 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Restoration Estimator:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of project sites to understand scope, specifications, and potential risks, particularly in asbestos and construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to gather necessary information for accurate estimation.
  • Analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and expertise to accurately estimate costs, including labor, materials, subcontractor services, and overhead expenses. ( general estimation is with program) Keep eye on details or add on's.
  • Prepare detailed proposals in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to asbestos.
  • Monitor project progress and budgetary performance, providing ongoing support and adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to source and procure materials and services at competitive prices.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings, site visits, and project kick-off meetings as required.

Job requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Estimator in the restoration, asbestos, or construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of asbestos removal regulations, construction methods, and restoration techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex project requirements and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Must be proficient at computer programs.
  • Willing (excited) to learn, must be okay with giving estimations on the field.
