Position Summary
Under the close supervision, guidance and mentorship of professional staff and/or faculty within a specified operating unit of the University, undertakes a range of on-going activities and assigned projects of significant complexity requiring specialized knowledge of a technical, operational, professional, or research area. Receives training and mentoring from senior professional personnel in planning and carrying out activities and assignments. This is a fixed-term (typically up to 12 months) position that is restricted to individuals who are currently enrolled in high school or have obtained a high school diploma no greater than 24 months prior to hire date.

Conditions of Employment
- Must be age 16 or older at date of hire; must be in the care of a parent or guardian if under the age of 18.
- Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in high school or must have obtained high school diploma no greater than 24 months prior to hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of or familiarity with defined area of operational/administrative/technical specialty.
Ability to successfully interact with faculty and/or staff in a team environment.
