Immediate Supervisor: Assistant General Manager
Supervision Exercised: Supervision of ushers, security, ticket takers and parking attendants during events.
General Statement of Duties: Training, scheduling, evaluating and maintaining parking and guest services and other duties as assigned.
Areas of Responsibilities:
- Train and instruct employees.
- Prepare facility for opening and closing during events in the absence of Co-Event Services Manager or Assistant General Manager
- Schedule workers.
- Monitor activity during events.
- Enforce rules.
- Respond to emergencies.
- Serve as liaison to Assistant General Manager.
- Emphasis on parking services.Understanding of parking and traffic procedures.
- Develop and implement-parking program for all guests.
- Insure financial accountability and maximization of parking revenues.
- Oversee parking lot cleanliness and maintenance.
- Serve as liaison for all parking related questions and concerns.
- Prepare replies to public correspondence with patrons.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Primary focus will be on the Event Services Department and assisting the Operations Department on a as needed basis. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee should also have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or
- One to two years experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Individual must be able to function with minimum supervision, handle complaints, investigate incidents and write reports.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Individual must react well under pressure and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
