Immediate Supervisor: Assistant General Manager

Supervision Exercised: Supervision of ushers, security, ticket takers and parking attendants during events.

General Statement of Duties: Training, scheduling, evaluating and maintaining parking and guest services and other duties as assigned.

Areas of Responsibilities:
  • Train and instruct employees.
  • Prepare facility for opening and closing during events in the absence of Co-Event Services Manager or Assistant General Manager
  • Schedule workers.
  • Monitor activity during events.
  • Enforce rules.
  • Respond to emergencies.
  • Serve as liaison to Assistant General Manager.
  • Emphasis on parking services.Understanding of parking and traffic procedures.
  • Develop and implement-parking program for all guests.
  • Insure financial accountability and maximization of parking revenues.
  • Oversee parking lot cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Serve as liaison for all parking related questions and concerns.
  • Prepare replies to public correspondence with patrons.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Primary focus will be on the Event Services Department and assisting the Operations Department on a as needed basis. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee should also have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or
  • One to two years experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Individual must be able to function with minimum supervision, handle complaints, investigate incidents and write reports.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Individual must react well under pressure and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and resolves problems in a timely manner.
