National Accounts Relationship Manager

The relationship manager role is primarily dedicated to supporting the National Account Managers by providing excellent client service, supporting key campaign initiatives, miscellaneous projects, internal marketing / sales efforts and assisting in multiple aspects of our focus firm relationships. This role falls under John Hancock Investment Management.
Responsibilities:
Act as a secondary point of contact for assigned firm relationships
Develop and maintain relationships with key internal home office personnel to communicate sales, marketing, product, and firm updates
Proactively partner with internal contacts to facilitate timely resolutions of problems or issues presented by broker/dealers
Assist National Account Manager in pre-conference planning and post-conference follow up, tracking and reporting
Assist National Account Manager with the John Hancock Investment Management internal desk to deepen their knowledge of Focus Firm responsibilities and thematics
Assist National Account Manager to provide information pertaining to firm focuses, events, and initiatives to sales management and business consultants / specialists to identify sales opportunities
Address broker/dealer questions and concerns about John Hancock Investment Management products and marketing initiatives
Qualifications:
Series 7 and 63
5 Years of relevant experience
Ability to travel
Strong social and relationship building skills
Microsoft applications expert
Expert communication skills
Expert influence and negotiation skills
Strong executive presence
Proven ability to building strong relationships
Strong sense of urgency and accountability; results orientation
