Cleared Senior Software Test Engineer
Are you interested in joining a small team of dynamic engineers? Do you enjoy test engineering and excel in enhancing software tools and systems through comprehensive testing? Bestgate Engineering is actively seeking a meticulous Test Engineer like you for our Tools team.
In this role, you will leverage your experience with modern programming languages to effectively communicate with software engineers, identifying and articulating deficiencies in tools or systems. You will be responsible for documenting test procedures and other artifacts to ensure accuracy and repeatability. Your expertise will extend across various testing methodologies including unit, integration, stress, smoke, use case, and operational scenario-based testing. Additionally, you will engage in functional and non-functional testing, requirements-based and structure-based testing, as well as black box and white box testing.
Required Skills:
Proven experience setting up diverse test environments for a software development team.
Skilled in implementing comprehensive testing strategies at the component, integration, system, and end-to-end levels.
Proficiency in test automation, developing test scripts, and conducting regression and performance tests.
Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium or Katalon.
Familiarity with Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM).
Developed detailed test cases and deficiency reports.
Strong ability to formulate and execute test strategies, plans, and procedures, encompassing all aspects from monitoring and control to analysis, design, implementation, execution, completion, and traceability.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.
Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
