This sunny and family friendly southern California designer center located in Newbury Park has been attracting top professionals to join Skyworks elite team here. This role will involve you to develop the most sophisticated Rf front end module through Skyworks technical networks with collaborations with expert teams among all Skyworks design centers across the US and Japan. Overtime this position has potential to advance from individual contributor to key leader who will own and execute critical portion of our product developments. The qualified candidate needs to be a self-driven, committed team player and possess a full understanding of electromagnetics and RF circuits with details shown below. Responsibilities: Adapting best MCM design and full module Co-simulation practices Designing semi-lumped RF matching networks in a compact environment Designing Integrated Passive Devices Designing high-isolation laminate layouts to meet high density component module and able to meet stringent requirements such as de-sense and harmonics Participating and conducting design review meeting Performing lab testing and tuning and using various RF test equipment The circuit blocks involved in a typical product development may include: Integrated Passive Devices SAW/BAW Duplexers & High-Q RF Filters Switches Matching circuits High-directivity couplers Software Tools Used are: Ansoft HFSS Agilent ADS and Momentum Cadence Allegro and Virtuoso Layout Excel Microsoft Office/Outlook Hardware Tools Used are: Signal Generators Digital Receivers Load-Pull/Tuners RF Probe Stations Required Experience and Skills: BSEE and 5 years' work experience or MS and 3 years' experience or PhD Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook Experiences of EM tools such as HFSS, or Momentum Lab experiences of network analyzer, signal generator, spectrum analyzer and probe station Knowledge of HBT, FET, CMOS devices Knowledge of RF switch design, or power amplifier design, or PA classes, PAE, PA performance Knowledge of communication standards, such as LTE-A, WiFi, and the associated standards requirements on such as sensitivity, intermodulation, de-sense, ACLR, EVM" Preferred Experience and Skills: Experience in ADS, Virtuoso, and Allegro Preferred Skills #LI-MS1 The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD
