Job Summary:Betten Baker Allegan is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. This is a full-time position in the auto industry, located in Allegan, Michigan. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building long-lasting relationships with our customers. This is an individual contributor role, where you will have the opportunity to utilize your sales skills to meet and exceed sales targets while earning a competitive base salary and commission.Compensation & Benefits:- Competitive base salary plus commission- Medical, dental, and vision insurance- Paid vacation and holidays- 401(k) retirement plan- Employee discounts on vehicle purchases and servicesResponsibilities:- Greet and engage with customers, identifying their needs and offering solutions to meet those needs- Conduct test drives and provide product demonstrations to potential customers- Utilize various sales techniques to negotiate and finalize sales transactions- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while providing excellent customer service- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, current promotions, and dealership policies- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by the dealership- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records of all sales and customer interactions- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and efficient sales process- Attend regular training and development programs to enhance sales skills and knowledgeRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred- Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the auto industry- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Strong negotiation and closing skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Proficient in basic computer skills- Must be able to work weekends and some holidays- Valid driver's license and clean driving recordEEOC Statement:Betten Baker Allegan is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
