Bowhead seeks a Junior Requirement Management Specialist to support our Marine Corp Facilities, Services & Supply (FS&S) contract in Stafford, VA.

Responsibilities:
  • Review UWQ for tasks assigned for review
  • Pull all reports for MCSC Supply accounts for both GCSS-MC and DPAS. These include the DASF, CMR/IB location, Sub-inventory, and DPAS CAR
  • Receipt for incoming shipments
  • Issue property from the warehouse to commodities
  • Review the GCSS-MC perpetual inventory for items that need issue to an appropriate sub-inventory or subordinate unit code in APSR, research and take appropriate action and/or coordination to correct the issue
  • Upload receipt documentation to document management module in GCSS-MC
  • Review action area of document management form and process exceptions, cancellations, and MOVs as required.
  • Analyze each document number on the DASF to determine its validity (e.g., past the estimated shipping date without shipping status, shipping status past the expected arrival date based on priority, etc.)
  • Maintain a detailed shipments received tracker in the format provided by the government POC
  • Submit shipments received report in the format provided by the government POC
  • Reconcile with Property Management Team for inbound and outbound material redistributions to/from the command resident on the commands DASFs
  • Ensure all required follow up actions from the validations are completed.
  • Reconcile with program POCs for open requisitions
  • Reconcile with program Financial Managers for fiscal close-out of orders received
Qualifications:
  • BA/S in relevant field is preferred in addition to three (3+) or more years of relevant experience. Five (5+) or more additional years combination of education, professional training, or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level, candidates with an active Secret are highly encouraged to apply. US Citizenship is a requirement for admission to this location.
