Enterprise Applications Engineer Intern

The Enterprise Applications Services (EAS) team is seeking a highly motivated Applications Engineer Intern to design, build, and support solutions for integrated financial platforms and other applications managed by the team. This person will work closely with team members across EAS to deliver value to our customers through quality solutions and problem solving. The ideal candidate has a strong technical aptitude with a desire to leverage their skills to enhance existing solutions and embrace emerging technologies that will enable features and integrations for our customers. Primary Responsibilities Responsible for developing and customizing applications to support and extend our financial systems. Collaborate with members of the delivery team and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, design solutions, and develop applications. Responsible for identifying customization needs, designing, and implementing extensions using modern technologies and enabling both our customers and technology delivery teams through innovative solutions and reliable integrations. Collaborate with boundary partners in designing and implementing integrations with third-party systems, legacy applications for Finance and Supply Chain applications. Implement comprehensive testing procedures to validate functionality and performance. Responsible for documenting design decisions, development activities, and configurations for future reference. Share knowledge and expertise with other team members and provide guidance on development best practices. Who You Are You’ve got a solid understanding of leveraging technical skills to enhance and improve businesses processes to deliver solutions for the Finance Integration team. You're a strong problem-solver, and exceptionally motivated and comfortable speaking honestly to all levels of the business. You also have the following qualifications: Current college student pursuing a BA/BS degree in a related field. Solid analytical and research capabilities. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Experience or knowledge with Microsoft Power Platform, Python and/or Java Experience or understanding of APIs Beginning your career is exciting, and we’d love to welcome you to Cox.
