Our client is seeking a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Calabasas, CA. About the Role: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. This is a senior role requiring a minimum of 7 years of experience. Responsibilities: Perform detailed engineering analysis and simulations to validate designs. Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project outcomes. Conduct prototype testing and troubleshoot design issues. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering. Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and other team members. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering. Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes. Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) is a plus.
