Field Manager - Landscape Maintenance
Responsibilities
- Develop a clear understanding of the philosophies by which the company operates, the short-and long-term goals of the branch, and the financial position of the branch.
- Get to know your people in an effort to help them develop within the company. Set goals with them and monitor their progress through timely formal and informal evaluations.
- Be an active part of our training process by attending or conducting certification training sessions on a regular basis.
- Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities on assigned contracts.
- Develop a clear understanding of the hourly and cost budgets for each of your jobs. Monitor by reviewing job hours, reports, and job costs regularly and taking action as needed. Communicate budget hours to assistants and crewmembers.
- Develop a good relationship with the client on every job.
- Monitor quality of work and be proactive in bringing issues to the customer's attention by inspecting the job at the end of each day and completing property service reports.
- Sell an acceptable level of extras through the use of T&M tickets.
- Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in good working order.
- Demonstrated skill and ability to manage others at other levels.
- Demonstrated skill and ability to work with service customers.
- At least one year of experience doing contract maintenance work in a commercial setting.
- Two or four-year horticultural or related degrees and two years of industry experience. Additional industry experience or industry certifications can substitute for a non-related degree, a two-year degree, or no degree.
- Ability to identify and diagnose insect and disease problems and schedule appropriate treatment.
- Working knowledge of vehicles and equipment used in contract maintenance and snow removal.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record over the last three years.

Gerente de Campo - Mantenimiento de Paisajes
Descripcin del puesto
El gerente de campo es responsable de administrar la mano de obra y el material en el campo para completar los proyectos de mantenimiento y remocin de nieve asignados por contrato. Adems, los gerentes de campo deben entrenar a las personas bajo su supervisin. El xito en este puesto est indicado por trabajos en los que se renuevan los contratos, los trabajos se completan en las horas presupuestadas y hay una tasa de rotacin baja de asistentes y ayudantes. Este puesto debe cooperar con otros gerentes de campo de mantenimiento y gerentes de campo de mejora para asegurarse de que se cumplan los objetivos generales de la sucursal.
Responsabilidades
- Desarrollar una comprensin clara de las filosofas por las que opera la empresa, los objetivos a corto y largo plazo de la sucursal y la posicin financiera de la sucursal.

- Planificar, programar y supervisar las actividades diarias de produccin en los contratos asignados.
- Desarrollar una comprensin clara de los presupuestos por horas y costos para cada uno de sus trabajos. Supervise las horas de trabajo, los informes y los costos de trabajo con regularidad y tomar las medidas necesarias. Comunicar el presupuesto de horas a los asistentes y ayudantes.
- Desarrollar una buena relacin con el cliente en cada trabajo.
- Monitorear la calidad de trabajo al inspeccionar el trabajo al final de cada da, completar los informes de servicio de la propiedad, y ser proactivo en comunicar problemas al cliente.
- Vender un nivel aceptable de extras mediante el uso de los boletos de T&M.
- Mantener el vehculo y el equipo asignado en buen estado de funcionamiento.
- Capacidad y habilidad demostrada de gestionar a otros en diferentes niveles.
- Capacidad y habilidad demostrada de trabajar con clientes.
- Al menos un ao de experiencia realizando trabajos de mantenimiento comerciales por contrato.
- Un ttulo de dos o cuatro aos en horticultura o relacionado y dos aos de experiencia en la industria. Experiencia o certificaciones en la industria adicional pueden substituir el requisito de un ttulo.
- Habilidad para identificar y diagnosticar problemas de enfermedades e insectos y programar tratamiento adecuado.
- Conocimiento prctico de vehculos y equipos utilizados en contratos de mantenimiento y remocin de nieve.
- Licencia de conducir vigente con antecedentes limpios de los ltimos tres aos.
