- Processes admissions on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis as directed by patient and family needs.
- Works late evening or late night admissions at least once weekly.
- Provides professional, courteous nursing service to the patient consistent with knowledge, training experience and hospice standards.
- Provides the initial patient and family assessment, incorporating psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, physical and appropriate nursing interventions.
- Meets or exceeds weekly productivity standards for completing admissions.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Minimum of AA degree in nursing; Bachelors Degree preferred. Current Florida RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of (1) one year clinical nursing experience.
- Excellent assessment skills required.
- Current Basic life support (BLS) CPR Certification required.
