Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled RN Hospice Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing admissions 24/7, handling late evening or late-night admissions, and delivering professional nursing services consistent with hospice standards.
Key Responsibilities- Process admissions 24/7 as per patient and family needs.
- Handle late evening or late-night admissions at least once weekly.
- Deliver professional nursing services consistent with hospice standards.
- Conduct initial assessments incorporating psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, and physical aspects, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
- Meet or exceed weekly productivity standards for admissions.
- AA degree in Nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current Florida RN license in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Excellent assessment skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification.
