Company Summary: Our client, a rapidly growing steel manufacturer and distributor, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join their team. With a focus on the steel tubing and hollow sections sector, our client is a key player in the industry, committed to achieving efficient and profitable sales. Due to their tremendous growth in the international market, they are looking to add a proven Business Development Executive to assist in the growth of their business in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the Florida marketplace and helping build their team long-term.

Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges between $100,000 to $125,000, negotiable based on experience. Our client values expertise and is open to considering higher compensation for candidates with extensive relevant experience.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. 2-5+ years of sales experience is mandatory. 2-5+ years of managerial/leadership experience is preferred. Willingness to travel extensively within the state of Florida (50%+). Valid passport required for potential international travel. Valid driver's license. Proven track record of consistent short and long-term growth. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, CRM/ERP systems, and Salesforce preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute business plans with the Commercial Director to meet established goals. Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business. Service existing clients, optimizing profitability in the assigned territory. Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas. Ensure compliance with company collection and pricing policies. Manage documentation for customs import processes. Exhibit strong leadership skills, motivating the sales team for excellence. Analyze industry market trends, competition, products, and pricing, communicating insights to management and other departments. Review and analyze daily sales, presenting information when requested. Provide positive reinforcement and constructive criticism to team members. Travel to tradeshows and customer sites as required, with potential for international travel. Review and analyze POS for actionable insights into regions for growth.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 2-5+ years of sales experience. 2-5+ years of managerial/leadership experience preferred. Willingness to travel 50%+ within the state of Florida. Valid passport required for international travel. Valid driver's license. Proven track record of delivering consistent short and long-term growth. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, CRM/ERP systems, and Salesforce preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
