The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for developing and managing engineering / technology projects. Accountable to deliver the scope of work to the original cost estimate. Manages schedule, budget, and integration of NPI and/or requisition projects, including influencing the projects to meet customer CTQs and hit tollgate milestones. Project is often a component of a program. Lead cross-functional teams in the creation and management of risk-based manufacturing maturation plans (MMP's) Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of manufacturing processes for classified hardware. Collaborate with customers to ensure alignment with GE MRL standards and sufficiency of substantive evidence of risk mitigation provided Drive process improvement and standardization of work across programs by way of FLIGHT DECK

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma /GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Science, Chemical, etc) + 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering and/or project management Must be a US citizen Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance

Desired Characteristics 5+ years of experience in NPI manufacturing and/or project management Previous or currently has DoD Security Clearance Prior NPI manufacturing experience Strong oral and written communication skills.
