Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition team by sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent that aligns with Viega LLC's needs and values. This position will complete a variety of specialized duties that support the functional operations of the team while demonstrating prioritization, urgency, and accuracy. Responsibilities span from managing recruitment lifecycles, collaborating with hiring managers to understand job requirements, executing talent strategies, conducting interviews, extending offers and establishing key partnerships to secure future talent. Most importantly, this role will be a key part of the organization by driving a positive culture and new hire experience for all Viega colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand specific talent needs, team dynamics, and candidate profiles.
  • Utilize (ATS) and other recruitment resources to manage candidate pipelines efficiently.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, both in-person and virtual, ensuring that all parties involved are well-informed and prepared.
  • Review resumes assess candidates' qualifications and match them with the ideal role.
  • Conduct phone screens and assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and knowledge.
  • Support the candidate and hiring manager between the interview, offer, and onboarding process.
  • Support Talent Acquisition project work and recruitment events/Job Fairs.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to act pro-actively and problem-solve.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years recruiting or related experience.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications will enhance qualifications.
Location

This role is located at our McPherson, Kansas location.

Total Rewards Package

Compensation
  • Base: $$48,668to$66,431annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
  • Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
