SilverBow is in search of a Reservoir Engineer II to analyze reservoir characteristics and performance, making full use of all current technology, and provide recommendations that will maximize the value of the Company’s current and possible hydrocarbon reserves. This role will be expected to provide accompanying risked economic and cash flow analysis on all internal and external opportunities and continuously improve programs, process and relationships. To be successful in this position, we’re looking for a self-starter who wants to work as a member of a busy team, is interested in learning new skills, and is flexible and adaptable as priorities change.

Key Responsibilities: Responsible for reservoir engineering associated for opportunities including production decline analysis, assessing OOIP and OGIP, analysing well spacing, evaluating EUR distributions, performing RTA, etc. Understand phase behavior and use in material balance calculations Forecast production and runs economics in ARIES May be assigned to an asset team to perform Reservoir Engineer role Responsible for Reserve distributions and economic evaluations in assigned area for proposed projects Assist in reservoir engineering matters in non-assigned areas Mentor entry-level reservoir engineers Take all projects from idea to finished product with little to no supervision Incorporate geologic, reservoir, land, operational and financial data into economic models

Required Experience & Education Bachelor’s Degree in engineering discipline; 3+ years of upstream oil and gas experience Power-User Level experience: Aries, Spotfire, Microsoft Office; experience in IHS Harmony a plus Expert working knowledge of general principles, concepts, theories and practices of reservoir engineering Advanced communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department and corporate goals.
