Job Summary: The Motorsports Sales Manager at Jay Hatfield Motorsports in Joplin is responsible for driving sales and profitability for our motorsports division. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive base salary and commission structure. The Sales Manager will work closely with customers to understand their needs and help them find the right motorsports vehicles and accessories to suit their preferences. This is an exciting opportunity to combine a love of motorsports with a passion for sales and customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences in motorsports vehicles and accessories
- Educate customers on available products, options, warranties, and services
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Utilize various sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling, to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for increasing sales and reach in the local motorsports community
- Stay informed and up-to-date on market trends, new products, and competitors' offerings
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including inventory management and showroom displays
- Act as a liaison between customers and service department to ensure timely and satisfactory vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including ethical sales practices and customer service standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of sales experience in the auto industry, preferably in motorsports
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of motorsports vehicles and accessories, including brands, models, and features
- Familiarity with sales techniques and customer service best practices
- Ability to work weekends and some holidays
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
