You will drive the product creation process from initial concept through to commercialization and production for assigned Field of Play to lead to on time delivery and development according to critical dates, product specification, sustainability, performance, and profitability goals. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross functional Product Creation leaders and work side-by-side with the field of play leadership team to ensure that all our different disciplines are working seamlessly to drive product excellence. You’ll apply workload management tools and metrics from our Operations teammates to help make data-informed decisions. You’ll also provide objective measurements of success and dashboards to move the offense forward and offer recommendations on how to proceed in service to our teammates, consumers, and athlete. As a part of Nike’s Field of Play Leadership team, you will work with our leaders across Engineering, Materials Development, Product Testing, Product Management, Design and more to ensure our aligned offense for team and product excellence is optimized and productive WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor’s degree required in the relevant or a related field, or any acceptable combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant or a related field Minimum 10+ years of operational, strategy, or development experience Critical thinking & analytical skills Proven examples of results-orientation, problem solving, and cross functional collaboration Experienced, high-profile communication skills, and the ability to influence throughout all levels of the Nike enterprise. Leadership in the development of a team of experienced individual contributors. Responsible for talent management and may provide input into succession planning and segmentation activities.
