As part of this role...A Junior Field Service Engineer will support preventative maintenance, repair services, and commissioning activities on Critical Infrastructure Electrical and Mechanical Building Monitoring systems. The Junior Field Service Engineer is required to have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and components, as well as a fundamental understanding of the tools and processes required to complete Controls System maintenance and repair activities.A Junior Field Service Engineer is responsible for delivering high quality service and customer satisfaction, as well as, working well with the team and providing support/coverage as per business needs.What you will do...•Work with essential/key team members to understand their systems requirements to ensure the correct IP infrastructure, points list, critical alarms, and scaling set points are integrated as designed.•Work on construction sites, assisting the Controls Field Service Team with BMS system deployments, validations of design and installation, chiller plant alarming, monitoring of feedback associated with valves, fans and controls associated with BMS system and integration.•Assist in validating BMS/EPMS system sequences of operation and alarm points. Validate and provide CX support for system testing and point to point verifications during the various levels of system commissioning.•Work with the Controls Field Service team to implement QA procedures to ensure quality control is properly implemented throughout projects.•Work with the Controls Field Service team to perform inspections, testing and commission facility monitoring systems. •Install, troubleshoot, and repair controls hardware effectively and efficiently.What you will need to succeed...Basic Qualifications:•Associate's degree in engineering technology or in an engineering-related discipline or 1 to 3 years of field experience in engineering, construction, or critical facilities operations/maintenance experience. Relevant military experience acceptable.•Basic knowledge and experience with electrical testing equipment including multimeters or signal generators for the installation and troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical systems.•Understand electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams, control diagrams, prints, MOP-building operations, understanding of electrical theory, chiller control circuits and Industrial HVAC systems.•Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work in a challenging environment, be organized, and have good problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:•Working knowledge and/or experience with equipment including AHU, CRAHU, fans, pumps, valves, motors, water systems, AC/DC circuits.•Controls Field service experience - working with industrial instrumentation, onsite point to point controls validation and working knowledge with SCADA/PLC systems.Physical demands...
