Key Responsibilities

· Maintains a perpetual inventory of materials, equipment, supplies, and other general stock items. · Records purchases, maintains the database, performs a physical count of inventory, reconciles actual stock count to office records, or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory levels. · Verifies clerical computations against the physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count. Investigates and report reasons for discrepancies. · Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages. · Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods. · Re-stocks items as necessary. · Labels shelves. · Liaises with vendors and purchasing agents and prepares deliveries. · May perform other routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers. Qualifications Performs work under minimal supervision. · Handles complex issues and problems and refers only to the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter. · Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. · May act as a lead or first-level supervisor. · Typically requires a high school diploma and 4 to 6 years of experience. · Oral and written communication skills. · Computer skills. · Clerical skills. · Planning skills. · Problem-solving skills.
