The Human Resources Coordinator position will provide full support to CHW's VP of People and Culture as well as have an active role in enhancing the employee experience by achieving our People Operations goals. The objective of this role is to provide an opportunity for an individual to deepen their growth and development in the Human Resources profession, through hands-on experience and exposure to various HR functions. The HR Coordinator supports the HR function and reports to VP of People and Culture.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the VP of People and Culture. Maintain job descriptions within SharePoint and HRIS.
  • Process timecards and ensure accurate record-keeping across the organization and for payroll.
  • Manages staff years of service awards in collaboration with the VP of People & Culture.
  • Maintain and update employee's records to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date systems with staff information (Compease, PI, LMS, compliance poster, etc.).
  • Support and assist staff questions, concerns or feedback.
  • Organize training sessions and seminars as directed by VP of People and Culture.
  • Supports the VP of People and Culture with performance management processes.
  • Coordinate, manage, and execute staff engagement events and quarterly all-staff meetings, including logistics.
  • Support the organizations DEI initiatives and use a DEI lens as an HR professional.
  • Provide coverage for the AA's responsibilities while on RTO.
  • Maintain, support and protect HR's data and reporting needs as required and requested.
  • Maintain and prepare all CHW new hire merchandise, business cards, and central office access cards for a new hires first day.
  • Ensure professional, timely, and well-written staff communication organization-wide.
  • Responsible for maintaining office safety, including reporting, and addressing any unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain HR-related supplies and materials, such as staff merchandise, schedule meetings and respond to phone calls or other HR-related needs as needed and required.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the HR profession.
  • Certification of SHRM-CP or PHR required
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on Human Resources preferred.
  • Strong time management Skills. Strong attention to detail to support the high level of data entry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.

Compensation:

It may vary based on skills, experience and qualifications.

$26.00 - $33.00
