The Environmental Intern position is a combination of office work and field learning opportunities, with the predominance being in office tasks. We are looking for team members who want to gain a basic understanding of the industry while providing enthusiasm and attention to detail in all assigned tasks.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Support Estimating and Project Management teams in daily tasks, including technical information gathering, regulatory research, proposal review and writing, and service completion reports
  • Perform site visits as required by internal and external stakeholders
  • Review design documents with AQUALIS team members
  • Perform data entry into CRM system
  • Assist in the review or writing of standard operating procedures
  • Follow through on problems that may compromise effective job performance by using appropriate chain of command
  • Demonstrate the mission, vision, and core values of the organization through conduct, behavior, actions, and words
  • Maintain positive working relationships and foster cooperative work environment
  • Display honesty and mutual respect when communicating with peers and other departments
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of duties in this job classification
Position Requirements
  • Upcoming junior or senior year of Bachelor of Science program in environmental studies, engineering, ecology, construction management or compatible courses of study preferring
  • Strong technical writing skills as well as oral and written communication
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe, Excel, and other computer programs
  • Strong customer service and negotiating skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and organize
