A top gaming company is looking for a Community Manager with strong writing skills to join their team. This person will be responsible for managing and engaging with the organization's online community in a way which builds brand awareness.They will work cross functionally with internal partners to understand business objectives in order to communicate effectively with customers. Candidates must show examples of community updates/patch notes that they have written.

Responsibilities
  • Inform the game's players about upcoming updates and changes to the game and live services by writing detailed patch notes, live service and issue updates, and maintenance information to be published on the website and community channels.
  • Drive community growth by monitoring and reporting on community channels and both online and in-game event performance to provide detailed analysis that fosters constant improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with community partners, such as fan sites, external forums and community destinations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of community management experience with proven track record of success
  • Professional gaming industry experience is a MUST-HAVE
  • Experience writing community updates / patch notes is a MUST-HAVE (you will need to provide examples)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
