Job Title: Mid-Level Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Project Manager with 5-10 years of experience to manage the cost, schedule, and quality of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with the company's policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will cultivate strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, actively participate in the construction management process, and monitor project success, adapting to challenges and milestones as they arise.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design partners, and other key project stakeholders.
    • Address clients' business drivers and facilitate conversations with the project team.
    • Conduct frequent visits to project sites to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Construction Management:

    • Review client contracts and participate in the preconstruction and bidding process.
    • Oversee submittals and RFI processes, coordinate purchases, and resolve issues with subcontractors.
    • Analyze self-perform activities with respective groups and lead timely project closeouts.
  • Financial and Risk Management:

    • Continuously monitor and manage job costs and labor production.
    • Participate in recurring meetings with project executives to discuss project financials.
    • Monitor project cashflow and billings, negotiate Potential Change Items (PCIs).
    • Identify and address potential risks, performing risk analysis and creating observation reports.
  • Project Scheduling and Monitoring:

    • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment of activities and team members.
    • Conduct weekly schedule updates, monitor project success, and adjust as necessary.
    • Notify the project team of challenges and milestones to ensure timely adjustments.
  • Additional Duties:

    • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the success of the project and team.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Combination of formal construction-related education and professional experience that meets the responsibilities listed above.
  • Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with leadership, clients, and the community.
    • Highly organized, dedicated pre-planner, and problem-solver.
    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Primavera P6, Procore, and Bluebeam.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Primarily an office environment with frequent visits to construction sites.
