Job Title: Contract Hardware Engineer Mid-Leve
Location: Cesar Rapids, IA
What’s the Job?
ASIC/FPGA Design: Capture requirements and contribute to the digital architecture, design, and verification using RTL.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement new tools and practices for the design flow.
Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to project teams, plan activities, and report status.
System Integration: Work on timing closure, system integration, and overall design optimization.
Tool Proficiency: Utilize ASIC/FPGA simulation and synthesis tools such as Modelsim, Synplify, Quartus, Vivado.
What’s Needed?
Experience: 6-15 years of experience in ASIC/FPGA design and development.
Technical Skills: Proficient in RTL coding (VHDL/Verilog), digital circuit design, and simulation.
Tool Proficiency: Experience with tools like Modelsim, Synplify, and familiarity with Unix, scripting, and C/C++.
Security Clearance: U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.
Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills for documenting and presenting work.
