The Account Director plays a critical role in the client relationship, acting as a strategic partner to our client as well as our internal creative & development teams. Our approach to client relationships is through being a "trusted partner" in helping to understand and guide brands and marketing efforts to businesses.

In this role, you are responsible for providing mentorship to a team of Account Supervisors and Executives. You will lead the translation of clients' business challenges or needs to actionable brand/marketing strategies and oversee the day-to-day communication with clients. The Account team will be held accountable to manage the full delivery of the scope of work with standards of quality and accuracy within timelines and on budget.

You will be responsible for profitability for all our accounts and represents the Agency at the community level. The Account Director is the person to whom the Account Supervisor and Account Executives look for support, guidance, and counsel.

The Team Behind Your Brand's Success: Impact Managed Marketing

Responsibilities:

- Overall growth and development of accounts
- Meet profit goals on each account
- Maintaining a high level of performance of the account team
- Pro-actively engages with internal team and clients on projects to mitigate issues, respond to clients in a timely manner and resolve issues that arise
- Being sufficiently informed and personally involved, ensuring sound planning, good service and a solid
client/agency relationship
- Plans, develops, and defends budget recommendations, work goals, measurements, and training
requirements necessary to provide both quality and profitable service to clients
- Assigns duties, goals, and supervises the account service staff in the local market

Things We Are Looking For:

- 5+ years agency experience
- Prior experience in an Account Director role or a role of similar responsibilities
- Demonstrable experience in negotiation and meeting client requirements
- Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress
- Working knowledge of MS Office and/or relevant software
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
