I. POSITION SUMMARY: Coordinates and expedites the flow of materials between the organization and external organizations as well as within the organization. Ensures timely shipment and distribution of materials, monitors inventory levels, and confers with department supervisors and external vendors to determine availability of product. Oversees the daily tasks of support staff.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Prepares transfers of medical products to dispensaries. Prepares non-medical transfers to Ceres shops and dispensaries.
  2. Ensures par lists are maintained and works with management to ensure product is available for distribution.
  3. Picks, packs, and ships all wholesale orders to repeat customers.
  4. Receives all finished goods inventory from production and external vendors.
  5. Counts and tracks all inventory at the home office as well as retail locations.
  6. Expedites finished goods, administering flow of inventory from production or external vendors to retail locations.
  7. Interfaces between production and retail locations. Troubleshoots issues with supply and communicates demand to production.
  8. Eliminates and prevents surplus inventory. Performs inventory cycle counts, spot counts and performs month-end reconciliations, researches variances and authorizes appropriate adjustments. Ensures adequate back stock of product.
  9. Audits inventory, prepares cyclical reports of findings to management.
  10. Oversees inventory support staff, including training, scheduling and daily tasking to ensure department needs are met.
  11. Maintains and updates all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for distribution.
  12. Monitor, reorder and distribute shared consumables.
  13. Responsible for maintaining adequate safety stock levels and timely resupply of consumables with current vendors

III. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Other duties as assigned.

V. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Education & Experience: High School Diploma or vocational school, plus three years of experience in a similar role. Must be 21 years of age.
  2. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    1. Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques that maximize the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
    2. Knowledge of business principles relating to planning, resource allocation, production methods and coordination of resources.
    3. Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, statistics and their applications.
    4. Knowledge of principles of providing customer service including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    5. Active listening skills; strong time-management and critical thinking skills.
    6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    7. Ability to set priorities for support staff, and to redirect support staff as priorities or needs change.
  1. Certifications or Other Requirements:
    1. Must successfully pass a thorough background check prior to hire, and each successive year during employment.
    2. Cannabis experience preferred.

VI. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical demands and potential hazards typically encountered and reasonably anticipated in this position.
