Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer
We are seeking a GNC Engineer to support the research and development of flight control algorithms for our client's spacecraft and space station. This role will focus on enhancing high-fidelity modeling and simulation architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Expand and maintain our high-fidelity GNC simulation architecture.
Develop and validate additional models for GNC simulations, including hardware-in-the-loop testing.
Design, implement, and validate GNC flight software.
Create control laws to meet vehicle performance and stability margin requirements.
Support flight activities and analyze flight performance data.
What we need from you:
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar field
3+ years of experience
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming
Experience in orbital mechanics, attitude dynamics, and control
Familiarity with linear control principles and tools for designing feedback control systems
Experience with non-linear simulations of closed-loop dynamics
Understanding of outer loop control law performance requirements
Proficiency in MATLAB for data creation, processing, analysis, and visualization
Experience with Simulink for modeling dynamic systems
