Program Manager, Contingent Workforce Solutions

JOB SUMMARY As Program Manager for Marriott International's internal contingent workforce program, known as FLEX Talent Solutions, you will be responsible for all aspects of managing relationships with vendor partners who support staffing for headquarters and above property. You will work closely with the Director and Senior Manager of FLEX Talent Solutions as well as discipline HR partners and leads to ensure the success of the CWS program and the satisfaction of our stakeholders. This includes managing the vendor/supplier program and its population, day-to-day operations, troubleshooting and problem resolution, and maximizing customer satisfaction. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Manage the talent supplier program, including selecting and contracting with vendors and suppliers, managing relationships and communication, and conducting periodic benchmarking of the vendor population. Oversee the requisition/submittal process and job placement, prioritize orders and requisitions, and ensure responsiveness and top tier customer service. Work with hiring managers to ensure satisfaction and identify potential business development opportunities for contractors/subcontractors, projects, or services. Understand the contracted terms and conditions between Marriott International and the vendors, including pricing, rules of engagement, and processes. Meet or exceed account growth targets and service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and program deliverables. Implement, train, and administer software to both managers and vendor supplier users, and conduct quarterly performance reviews of vendors to monitor their performance to SLAs. Set performance expectations for and manage department staff priorities and results. Resolve day-to-day issues within the program and follow internal escalation plan as necessary. Actively collaborate with stakeholders in other business areas including technology, finance, human resources, and operations. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. 3+ years of experience managing contingent workforce programs either internally or with a staffing industry Managed Service Provider (MSP); or account management role in a general staffing company. 2+ years of experience managing IT supplier relationships, ideally during a period of high volume hiring. Strong familiarity with tech stacks and IT acronyms for discussions with hiring teams and vendors. Experience with Vendor Management System (VMS) required, Fieldglass or Simplify VMS experience preferred. CANDIDATE PROFILE Excellent organization, verbal/written communication as well as interpersonal skills. Ability to deal effectively with vendors, candidates, and hiring managers at all levels. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proven negotiation skills. Ability to effectively multi-task and function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
