**Job Description**

Danfoss in Ames has an opening for a **2nd** **shift Team Coordinator** . The hours for this position are **Monday - Friday 2:00 pm 10:00 pm with the potential for overtime.**

Team Coordinatorsfacilitate communications from supervision/planning to the production team while ensuring a safe working environment; providing customers with quality products on time; upholding strict compliance with all Danfoss and production floor policies; conducting daily shift meetings; and maintaining orderly, clean, and organized work areas according to 5S standards. When Team Coordinator responsibilities are completed it is expected this role would work alongside Production Operation Technicians to ensure assembly goals are being met.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Ensure a safe working environment

+ Provide customers with a quality product

+ Ensure on time delivery of product

+ Uphold strict compliance with all Danfoss and production floor policies

+ Conduct daily shift meetings

+ Report status of production orders and daily shipping capabilities and initiate action to ensure targets are met

+ Perform Shop floor/SAP/PDC transactions as required

+ Communicate with other shifts to ensure a smooth transition from one shift to another

+ Maintain orderly, clean, and organized work areas according to 5S standards and cleaning plan

+ Responsible for coaching colleagues on applications of standards and to increase skills

+ Responsible for training new employees

+ Identify weaknesses in production and participate in continuous improvement processes (RCPS, 4-steps, 8Ds as well as kaizen/continuous improvement events)
