Prior work with Qualtrics surveys and Cloud storage (Box, Google Docs and Drive) Experience with photography and photo editing, basic knowledge of graphic design concepts, and/or experience with Adobe Suite programs (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)Job Description:
SummaryIowa State University is seeking qualified candidates for a Student Services Coordinator II. The position will provide student-focused communications and administrative support for the Software Engineering Program.

About the Job:

Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating student-centric activities to strengthen engagement and loyalty Data collection, administering surveys and teaching evaluation processes Developing and distributing a monthly student newsletter Managing the departments website and social media presence Coordinating departmental meetings, event planning, and room scheduling Coordinating the departments daily operations through support to director, faculty, advising staff, and students P otential oversight of student workers who assist the program, when necessary

T he successful candidate will have: Strong commitment to undergraduate students and student success K nowledge of basic university, college and department policies and procedures Knowledge of courses and options required for the degree G ood oral and written and communication skills The ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in the university community The a bility to think independently, to use judgment and to respect confidences The ability to work both as a member of a team and independently Computer skills including word processing and data managementCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
Level Guidelines Career-level position demonstrating proficiency and knowledge of related competencies Works under direct to general supervision and may receive guidance on more complex assignments Follows established procedures for work assignments, and completes assignments which are semi-routine and may be atypical in nature Applies thorough knowledge to respond to inquiries and requests Able to resolve most problems and issues and respond to requests without escalation Provides guidance to students May provide supervision to one to two other staff or lead a small work team
