Overview:

The Investigator is responsible for assisting the Security Investigator and Security Manager with all sources of investigations.

Responsibilities:

Performs simple and complex investigations, which could involve fraud, theft, robbery, security incidents, and surveillance cases. Views and analyzes video footage incidents, assists the Legal Department in the research of surveillance video footage and with researching security cases per subpoena request. Reviews and troubleshoots video equipment problems. Responds to fraud alerts, surveillance systems failures, and branch incidents. Responds to alarm signals, and bank emergencies that require immediate attention. Conducts quarterly, monthly, and yearly physical security inspections. Assists in training new branch personnel on check fraud and robbery procedures, along with providing assistance during alarm and fraud situations.

Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in Criminal Justice Major preferred, with two (2) to four (4) years of bank operations experience in the financial institution sector.
  • Knowledge of investigations, banking operations, and government regulations, is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills required to interact with all levels of Bank personnel and outside contacts.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Ability to proofread and edit documents.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and analytical skills.
  • Must have advance computer skills.
