Skills you will develop:
  • Proficiency in front-end and back-end programming languages
  • Experience with API development and consumption
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks, libraries, and build tools
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and Object Relational Mapping libraries
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms
Helpful skills / background:
  • Experience shipping production quality code in React and Python
  • Expertise with Typescript, GraphQL, Apollo Client, Postgres, and SQLAlchemy
  • Experience working in distributed/cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) with a CI/CD process
  • A background in building enterprise applications or working in a manufacturing environment
Qualifications
Must be enrolled in a bachelors degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline by the start of employment
Able to work full time, onsite for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning mid June 2023
Able to work onsite at Downtown LA HQ for a minimum of 2-3 days per week
Must be a U.S. citizen
