Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Raytheon, working on the development of real-time embedded software for missile systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and integrating software solutions for our cutting-edge missile systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
- Participate in internal review of software components and systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering.
- Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
- Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products.
You will gain hands-on experience with the workings of missile systems, new tools, and the latest advancements in software development and missile technology. You will have the opportunity to work on complex systems and develop innovative solutions.
QualificationsWe are looking for candidates with a Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and experience with C++, C, or Java. This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships). The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
