Objective

The Financial Analyst will lead all the standard monthly and adhoc financial reporting requirements for the corporate Finance team to provide valuable insights to organizational leadership across the platform. This role will also support the department leaders in managing and understanding their shared services expense budgets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Partner with the general accounting team to help facilitate the month end close process Develop monthly financial reporting package (income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows) to provide insight into the financial performance of the business Leverage accounting and financial systems to gather, analyze and interpret ambiguous or large sets of data Collaborate with other members of the finance team to facilitate financial reporting each month in a way that helps to clearly articulate the financial performance of the business Assist with the creation of key financial presentations to senior leadership (i.e monthly financial reporting, quarterly board meetings, etc…) Provide insights into the status of Accounts Receivable to enable operational and sales teams to effectively complete the order to cash cycle Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts through the use of complex financial models and insights from shared services department leaders Support implementation of new accounting, accounts payable, expense processing and other related financial systems to gain further operational efficiencies

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in economics, finance or other business related area 1-3 years of professional experience in a related role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and emphasis on accuracy Time management skills along with ability to meet deadlines Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) NetSuite, SAP Concur, Airbase, Expensify or similar software experience
