Role Overview

We are in search of a Business Analyst to join our Commercial division, reporting directly to the Director of Finance. This role presents a distinctive opportunity to be part of a prominent and impactful commercial finance team, with significant potential to make a substantial and immediate contribution.

The Business Analyst will act as a financial advisor to the leaders of the Global Commercial organization, supporting our Surgical Pain and Game Ready sectors. The focus will be on driving profitable growth through proactive and insightful analysis, providing forward-thinking recommendations, and assisting in the formulation and execution of business strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver financial insights and guidance on all relevant commercial matters to the Surgical Pain and Game Ready business units, providing timely and meaningful financial analysis related to revenues, expenses, and profitability.
  • Communicate financial performance effectively across the organization.
  • Support month-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Lead the quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term planning processes for the Surgical Pain and Game Ready divisions, focusing on comprehensive forecasting and collaborating with key stakeholders to align on assumptions and outcomes.
  • Work with the Product Supply team to assess gross margins.
  • Enhance visibility into operating expenses and promote accountability among budget owners.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop decision models and business cases that articulate financial value and constraints for projects.
  • Partner with the Commercial Operations team to establish sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with the Director to evaluate both internal and external strategic opportunities.
  • Assist and lead special projects as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in a finance or analytical role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under tight deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills to deliver effective and results-oriented communications, including to senior executives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of finance, economics, business management, and strategic planning.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create financial models and reports.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience with SAP, BPC, and Power BI.
  • Prior knowledge or interest in the medical device industry.
