Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manages and maintains the approval of new and replacement positions
  • Posts and maintains positions on Towne's intranet and website
  • Conducts Internet searches and leverages other available technology to source passive candidates.
  • Reviews applications and resumes while considering the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for each position, and conducts initial candidate screenings
  • Schedules interviews for Talent Acquisition Officers and/or hiring managers
  • Ensures all job postings and recruiting activities are compliant with Federal and State requirements
  • Maintains resume and applicant files and assists hiring managers by providing copies of resumes and applications when needed
  • Assists with inquiries about open positions and the application process and sends responses to candidates on how to create a presence in the system and apply for open opportunities
  • Responds to all TowneBank website inquiries regarding our hiring procedures
  • Manages the Predictive Index system and administers testing of candidates, coordinating with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition team
  • Provides backup support to the Member Service Center receptionist for daily breaks as needed
  • Handle "hire" and "process hire" functions and works with Human Resources Coordinators and TA Officers to expedite the hiring process.
  • Works with the Talent Acquisition team to gather information to prepare Towne's AAP as well as the EEO-1 and VETS-4212 reports
  • Handles other department projects when necessary and assists the Talent Acquisition team with administrative tasks as needed
  • Obeys all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Experience using MS Office Suite in a professional work environment
  • Intermediate level Excel skills
  • Must possess the highest quality of integrity, discretion, strong work ethic and the ability to maintain extreme confidentiality
  • Ability to enter data in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of employees, applicants, etc.
  • Excellent reasoning skills and the ability to make good and timely judgment
  • Well organized with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills and telephone presence
  • Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility as demands and priorities change
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and guidelines effectively
  • Ability to flourish in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where multiple projects and competing demands are the norm
  • Excellent ability to quickly learn systems, emerging technology, and offer strong analysis and recommendations
Strong consideration given to applicants who possess the following:
  • Administrative experience in a Human Resources and/or recruiting environment
  • Prior experience with HRIS or ATS (desired UltiPro or Kronos)
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates through job boards, social media, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience or certification
Physically you can anticipate to:
  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally
  • Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
