Description

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FINE DINING ROOM FOOD RUNNER:

Our club in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a full-time fine dining room Food Runner. You provide outstanding customer service to our members and their guests. Friendly and welcoming, you serve as the liaison between the kitchen and servers. You expertly carry food trays to appropriate tables and serve food to our members.

You are careful to prepare, maintain and breakdown your dining room service stations, keeping the areas clean and organized. Taking pride in your dining area, you are conscientious about adhering to health codes and cleaning procedures as well as completing side work. You enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop for your work and get great satisfaction out of helping our members and their guests have a great dining experience

WORK SCHEDULE:

This full-time food running position requires working variable evening shifts including weekends and holidays. We serve dinner from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of comparable wait service experience
  • The ability to read, write and execute basic math skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Two years of comparable wait service experience in a country club environment preferred
  • Some wine knowledge preferred
  • Previous experience using point-of-sale system (e.g., Micros, Jonas, Aloha, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and push, pull or lift up to 30 lbs.

Experience in a country club environment or other hospitality-type work experience is highly desirable, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
