*Job Description:*

We are seeking a talented Senior Data Solution Architect to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Oil & Gas domain, with proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions on the AWS Cloud platform using Python and Spark.

*Responsibilities:*

· Architect end-to-end data solutions for our Oil & Gas clients, leveraging AWS Cloud services.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient data architecture solutions.

· Design and implement data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.

· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, guiding them in best practices for data architecture and engineering.

· Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment of data solutions with business objectives and compliance requirements.

· Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously evaluating and recommending new tools and frameworks to enhance our data architecture capabilities.

*Required Skills:*

· Strong knowledge of the Oil & Gas domain, including industry-specific data models, processes, and challenges.

· Proficiency in AWS Cloud services, including but not limited to S3, EC2, Redshift, Glue, Athena, and EMR.

· Advanced programming skills in Python, with experience in building data pipelines and ETL processes.

· Experience with Spark for distributed data processing and analysis.

· Solid understanding of data architecture principles, including data modeling, schema design, and optimization techniques.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

*Preferred Skills:*

· Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

· Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

· Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automated deployment and continuous integration.

Salary: $58.00 - $78.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
