Department Description:
Position Summary
As a Due Diligence Specialist within the Client Account Services team, you will be the central point of contact between DTCC’s subject matter experts and our clients. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from various internal departments such as our product teams, compliance, technology risk, senior management, and more to answer client questions and coordinate related tasks. “Due Diligence”, or the process of assessing a company’s risks and understanding it’s operations, is vital to our clients’ internal processes. You will be required to maintain a database of pertinent risk topics relevant to clients and communicating this information via consistent reporting to senior leadership and pertinent stakeholder teams at DTCC. Specific Responsibilities
Work closely with the Business Units and Control Groups (Compliance, Privacy, TRM, Cyber Security, Financial Risk Management, etc.) on matters pertaining to client onboarding, ongoing risk assessments and various reputational risks
Review incoming client due diligence requests and coordinate existing client requests for additional or required information about DTCC, its subsidiaries, products, services, etc.
Maintain database of client due diligence assessments and communicate this information to relevant parties as applicable
Serve as point of contact for teams when there are inquiries related to outstanding due diligence requests
Review various forms of documentation and assist in the preparation for onsite meetings
Handle direct incoming client phone calls, emails, web inquiries to answer client questions and/or troubleshoot complex situations
Work independently or across teams to resolve client issues in a prompt and professional manner, while escalating critical matters as needed
Ensure that client requests and issues are accurately tracked with supporting documentation and correspondence records, as necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of related experience in Client Services, Client Communication and Client on boarding activities.
Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
