Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Civil Engineer (PE) to perform land development engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in the preparation of due diligence studies and site planning, design of grading/drainage, water/wastewater systems, stormwater detention facilities, and permitting construction documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently perform land development engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives.
  • Responsible for the preparation of due diligence studies and site planning.
  • Design of grading/drainage, water/wastewater systems, stormwater detention facilities.
  • Responsible for permitting construction documents and reports work closely with other team members, and local review agencies and interacting with clients.
  • Civil engineering land development, infrastructure design, and construction document preparation for roads, parking areas, storm drainage systems, stormwater management facilities, utilities-water mains, sanitary sewers, sediment, and erosion control, and outline specifications.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a PE in Florida.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading, alignments, profiles, corridors, earthwork, and experience with pipe networks, detention, storm sewer design.
  • Understanding of local and state agency codes and ordinances relevant to the construction plan approval process.
