A reputable SaaS company located in Boston, MA is in search for a Senior FP&A Lead to join their corporate finance team. The Senior FP&A Lead plays a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting the financial patterns within the business, crafting clear, actionable recommendations grounded in data for senior management. The ideal Senior FP&A Lead candidate possesses a sharp eye for detail and the ability to construct compelling narratives around financial data, trends, and future projections.

Key Duties Of The Senior FP&A Lead Will Include

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Finance and the Research & Development division.
  • Produce monthly budget-to-actual reports following both GAAP and Non-GAAP standards, conducting thorough variance analyses.
  • Develop models to forecast and monitor expense drivers and components.
  • Gain proficiency in understanding, creating, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify trends.
  • Lead efforts to enhance corporate reporting, extracting valuable insights and suggesting strategic recommendations for long-term business growth.
  • Contribute insights for process enhancements drawing from industry best practices.
  • Identify emerging trends, distill insights, and deliver presentations to business leaders, aiding in investment decision-making.
  • Engage in ad hoc financial analysis and contribute to strategic projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive corporate finance experience
  • Very strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Highly motivated with great attention to detail
