Role

Coravin is adding an FP&A Manager to our growing Finance team. This role will be an integral part of the broader Finance team, reporting directly to the CFO. This role is a highly visible role in our business, with a unique opportunity to partner with every functional driver and support overall business goals. This position will play a critical role in moving the finance function forward by identifying trends and risks, reporting on financial performance, identifying opportunities, and making recommendations based on the data.


This role will lead the financial consolidation and reporting for Coravin as well as be the main partner on all Opex and COGS budgeting and forecasting. This individual will partner closely with the existing commercial-focused FP&A lead to drive insights and move the business forward.


Responsibilities

  • Facilitate monthly P&L consolidation and the preparation of monthly management reporting
  • Partner with functional leaders (Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering) to provide visibility into forecast variances and financial impact of strategic initiatives
  • Lead effort to optimize recently-launched forecasting and reporting tool (Cube)
  • Collaborate with business leaders and key stakeholders to understand how our planning and reporting activities support their goals and adjust as necessary.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities for the designated business segments by leveraging data driven insights.
  • Drive the annual budget creation process, engaging with Accounting and other members of the FP&A team to align the business and various initiatives to support the goals.
  • Optimize KPI reporting and internal financial reporting to senior management, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Assist with preparation of Board/committee presentations and other stakeholder presentations as needed including routine Investor lender reporting
  • Invent and/or simplify existing FP&A processes to allow for more efficient planning cycles
  • Ad hoc finance special projects as needed

Experience

  • 4-6 years of experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role
  • Prior experience with consumer products and supply chain mechanics will be highly valued
  • Comfort with large data sets, SQL, and accounting systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities with a focus on detail and follow-through
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial management principles
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Flexibility while working across time zones. The Global team has members across the EU, America, and Australia.
