JOB SUMMARY

We are in search of an experienced DevOps Automation Test Engineer able to design, implement, and support Pipeline creation and automated test plans in Azure DevOps.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implement DevOps practices to enhance the product development lifecycle.
  • Set up and manage build systems and artifact repositories.
  • Integrate automated testing on target hardware.
  • Manage and maintain software releases across multiple products.
  • Provide assistance and support to the QA and production teams.
  • Document automated testing processes, CI/CD pipelines, and test results.
  • Generate and analyze reports on test coverage, defect rates, and other key metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate or Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or similar branch of study
  • Individuals without a degree are encouraged to apply Equivalent experience acceptable in lieu of a degree.
Required Experience & Skills:
  • Creating build pipelines with Azure DevOps or Jenkins
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Bash or Python languages
  • Linux Distributions like Ubuntu or Red Hat
  • Excellent documentation skills
Preferred Experience & Skills:
  • Experience writing test cases for product requirements
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker)
  • Embedded software development
  • Using REST APIs for tool integraton
  • Yocto or Buildroot for embedded Linux distro creation
  • Cryptographic key management and code signing

Collaboration and Support: Enthusiasm for collaborating with teams, mentoring, and providing training to others

Autonomy: Confidence in independent work with minimal or no guidance

Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues. This includes networking, relationship management, and customer service skills.
